The Ortho Chick
“What I love about being an orthodontist in Fort Collins is how life-changing a gorgeous smile can be for an individual. The self-confidence that comes from being proud of your smile is nothing short of priceless. Orthodontic treatment is truly an investment in yourself with benefits that go beyond obtaining a functional bite.”
Dr. Laura Milnor received her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University, then attended dental school at The University of Iowa on an academic and research scholarship. She was elated to be able to continue at Iowa for her orthodontic residency and specialty training. Orthodontists receive an extra two years in specialized training beyond dental school, providing critical expertise in creating beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. She believes very strongly in continuing education and completes well over 100 hours every year.
Dr. Milnor was born and raised right here in Fort Collins and has a special place in her heart for this community. As a result, she strives to support the community and her patients in their educational experiences, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
She is active with Kids in Need of Dentistry (KIND) and the Colorado Orthodontic Foundation (COF), which provide dental and orthodontic care to underserved patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists (RMSO), the Larimer County Dental Society (LCDS), and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). She is also formally certified in Invisalign® treatment, has been a Preferred Provider since 2008, and is currently a Platinum Provider.
When she’s not working as an orthodontist in Fort Collins, Dr. Milnor enjoys spending time with her husband, Paris, and her toy poodle, Moose, who is definitely her baby. She thinks there is nothing better than a beautiful day in Colorado and being able to enjoy it biking, hiking, skiing, or just plain relaxing. Her passions include anything athletic, traveling, skiing, yoga, and art.
Dr. Milnor feels truly blessed to be doing a job she loves with an incredible team she considers family.
